Terms of Service

Last updated 12 June 2026

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) form an agreement between you, the customer (“you”), and MORT, a company registered in the United Kingdom and the operator of the Job Listings API (“we”, “us”, the “Service”). By creating an account or calling the API you agree to these Terms.

1. Licence grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of any applicable fees, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access the Service and use the data it returns. This licence terminates automatically if your account is terminated or these Terms are breached.

2. Permitted use

You may integrate the data into your own products, applications, and internal services. You may cache responses and display individual postings to your users, attributing each to the original posting URL we provide.

3. Prohibited use

  • Wholesale republication, resale, or redistribution of the dataset (or any substantial portion of it) as a competing data product.
  • Sharing, reselling, or sublicensing your API keys.
  • Circumventing, or attempting to circumvent, rate limits, plan gating, or other technical controls.
  • Using the data to contact, spam, or harass job applicants or employers.

4. Data accuracy

The data is aggregated from third-party applicant tracking systems and is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant that any posting is current, complete, or accurate, and coverage of optional fields varies. You are responsible for how you use the data.

5. Fees & cancellation

Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe. You may cancel at any time from the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

6. Suspension

We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy, or for non-payment. Where practical we will give notice and an opportunity to cure.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-product, and continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. Questions: legal@joblistingsapi.com.
